Artist and designer Irma Niekum created her first "Boneka" (pronounced bho-nae-kha, and meaning cute doll in Indonesian) similar to this one, at the age of ten growing up in Indonesia. Her mother helped her sew the doll who accompanied her everywhere-- playing, sleeping, and studying. It is Irma's hope that her unique Boneka collection will offer children the same comfy cozy feeling her little doll provided her. Made from wool felt that is OKEO-Tex Standard 100 Certified.
Each one of a kind Boneka doll is about 15"-16" high, and 10" wide (including arms).
