This bracelet is 14 karat gold-filled (called gold-rolled in Europe). Hand stamped with your little one's name.
Gold-filled is the next best thing to 14 karat gold jewelry, but it costs a lot less. Only real gold touches your skin. The 14 karat gold has been bonded to a layer of another metal and is at least 1/20th of the weight of the total item.
Gold-filled items are 50 to 100,000 times thicker than regular gold plating, and 17 to 25,000 times thicker than heavy gold electroplate.
