Sophie the Giraffe is still made by hand in the same manner in which she was produced when first designed over 46 years ago. Sophie is traditionally produced using a process that involves more than 14 manual steps. She is made from 100% natural rubber from the sap of the Hevea tree, and finished with food grade colors.
