Marie Lewis

These fantastic tutus are created by Marie Lewis, a textile designer and mother of two, with a passion for the whimsical and a nostalgia for styles and fabrics of the past. She started with a booth at the Studio City Farmer's Market in Los Angeles, and you can still see her there every Sunday with her unique designs.

Marie's love of children's books, animation and animals is cooked into all of her whimsical designs with a dash of funk, a teaspoon of hip, and a cup of playfulness. Each design is hand-crafted using such elements as hand stamped appliques, recycled vintage bedspreads, curtains, aprons and other unique vintage textiles to create a one of a kind whimsical story on each piece.

Marie attended Otis College of Art and Design and FIDM in Los Angeles, California. She resides in Los Angeles with her children.
